The award-winning eMotion Dance Company at Bellaire High School is a director led and student run dance company, one of the few within HISD. eMotion is composed of Breakdance, Hip Hop and Modern teams, each with its own student rehearsal directors who choreograph most dances. eMotion dancers meet during and outside school hours throughout the school year; each semester, students are given the flexibility to participate in as many dances as their schedules permit. Each year, eMotion presents the fall and spring shows at Bellaire HS, performs at local events, and participates in local and regional competitions. eMotion is regularly recognized for its solo, duet, small and large group performances at competitions. Additionally, this year, eMotion will continue hosting the HISD Dance Montage which showcases dancers from various public schools in HISD.

eMotion Dance Company was established in 2002 by Sanja Korman, former dance teacher at Bellaire High School, and is currently under the direction of Artistic Director Paris Kent. Today, the award-winning high school company is recognized for its student choreography in each of its Breakdance, Hip Hop and Modern dance teams. eMotion Dance Company is involved in numerous performances, presentations, and competitions throughout the community. eMotion Dance Company is a place where you can express yourself and have fun.
